Since the SC has given a stay on certain percentages of Reservations. Karunanidhi wants to escalate the situation by allocating some more for certain Religions, which if stayed or nullified will have a backlash, which is what Karunanidhi is hoping to cash on. He is only thinking about the present (Votebank), not thinking about future and how all this is going to affect next generation. A worst kind of politics by him, it is not expected of such a senior politician. This is not really in the interest of our Nation. Rather than solving the issue at SC, he is trying backdoor method to raise peoples passion. History has repeated examples that such ideas have failed.
