As per the Tamilnadu public service commission brochure there are 2479 castes coming under the backward list out of these during every election, some are removed and added to most backward category. those are really backward and poor are doing sindhry jobs, one more beauty is one particular caste in one district is backward and the same caste in another district is not backward. the government approach to caste system is totally a mess.
