NWFP OF PAKISTAN CAN NOT BE RULED BY GENERALS
by srinivas iragavarapu on Apr 02, 2007 11:20 AM

The irony of Pakistan is that booze drinking generals and fundamentalist mullas have equal say in ruling, and so both compromise with each other. NWFP is a tribal area and the trbals believe in "pure Islam" and so no one can rule them .Pakistani general uses that buffer state to save the rest of the country. If terrorism dies a general also has to die. USA pretends not to know this.
