No, I will not write anything bad about you. I have nothing against people like you..infact I hope against hope that there are more Indians like you. But when I visit these message boards, I feel disheartened and ,at worst of times, very angry. In the name of freedom of expression, these undeveloped minds, who neither understand religion nor humanity, write gibberish. Organized religion is very complex thing and is going through lot of metamorphosis in these times. It is going to take a while before this confusion is sorted..
Till then, worst we can do is to propogate hatred through media fed sensibilities and little information. How many people here really understand history or for that matter various conflicts going in the world? No doubt that there are some fundamental problems in the way Islam is intrepreted by quite a few muslims in the world, but that does not make majority of the muslims bad. Iam not a Muslim ( Infact I dont believe in any organized religion) but let me tell you, that best people I have met in my life are muslims.
I got carried away when I saw so many hateful messages by people against muslims and just because they are not there to defend themselves, you cant write anything and get away with that.
I appreciate rediff team's response in that and hope they will persist with this kind of discretion. Responsible media is the last hope in India full of RSS's, VHP's, shiv sena's shahi imam's ,akali mann's and not to speak of millions of responsibility shirking, confused Indians.
