respect your mother
by shiva prasad bharadwaj on Sep 28, 2006 11:10 PM

Hi Friends,
We are from Goa & settled here in Bangalore long back. We speak English as well as Kannada at home & outside. Our parents thought us to resect & learn as many language as possible.I would like to share my views & suggestions on above topic.
Every kid should learn kannada compulsorily if they really respect our motherland.its the parents & school administration who had to be really blamed & not the kids.Every state in India & every country & region in the world has made their regional language compulsory in school level.U can have one mother & one motherland,U cannot call a nieghbour women or men as ur parents just because they are better than ur own parents.simillarly we need to respect the place which gives us food, shelter, clothing etc..
The Government's concern has to be appreciated. It would have been better if they implemented the rule before the start of academic year by avoiding the inconvenience to the students.
English & Hindi is necessary but Kannada is "MUST" in Karnataka.
