There seems to be no clear policy in Indian establishment towards dealing with Pakistan. Presuming that it exists it seems the cocenssions our PM extended to Pakistan lead to seriously erode the correct stand India has been taking all throughout that Pakistan is responsible for the terrorist acts in India.Dr Singh's statement that Pakistan is also a victim of terror and therefore it is okay to setup a joint mechanism to deal with terror is totally against Indias interests. Given Pakistan's total involvement in sponsoring terror in India giving clean chit and involving Pakistan in any joint investigative mechanisms is like calling a thief to help find ways to catch the thief himself. Whatever India has been projecting in the last two three decades has got wiped off by the senseless concessions extended by Dr Singh. Neither Musharraf nor Pakistani government are so simlistic as they protray themselves to be. They are fully handin glove with the gangs which are indulging in Nuclear Proliferation, Drug smuggling, couterfiet currency circulation, creation and proliferation of jihadi outfits and sponsoring terrorist activities at many places in the world.
