We have laws to protect our wildlife, but all that in books. Nothing could be executed for several reasons, one ignore of law among people, two compromise of officials when it happens. Better dissemination of information on law should be made, serious consideration should be given to execute the law. Injury caused for an animal should be treated as injury caused to a human before the eyes of law and stringent punishment should be given whomsover it may be.
Carrying chickens/hens upside down in the two wheelers are against the law, but everyday we see the scene along with the helpless or botherless traffic officials on the road. Calling SPCA or any organisation doesn't work as the culprit runaway from the scene quickly.
Animal organisations should be funded and should act vigorously to prevent the cruelty against animals.
