Equation with Pakistan and its terrorists
by Adarsh on Oct 27, 2006 11:59 AM

The kind of spurt in terrorist activities that we are witnessing today was never seen before. It seems that the terrorists have become hyperactive and the sleeper cells have woken up. It is mainly due to two facts - Firstly out laxity in apprehending and punishing terrorists like Md. Afzal of Parliament attack fame. Secondly the frustration of terrorists due to their continued failure in Afghanistan and Iraq have invaded India in a big way and in the absence of a strict law like TADA, India is grippling with the means to contain terrorism.
The present UPA government has totally failed in providing safety and security to the country leave alone its hapless citizens and soldiers. Do we really need this useless government? Probably we would be better off without it.
