This is an overwhelming news! Finally, Priyadarshini and her family got justice. Finally, the Indian judiciary has woken up to public outcry and delivered a historical verdict. I remember being a part of the march which was organised by Priyadarshini's father on her birthday this year. The only thing that I felt that day was deep sorrow for a young girl whose life was cut short in the most brutal way and the person responsible went scot-free. The case re-opened due to the backing-up by numerous people - many of them didn't even knew her or her family personally. The whole thing re-instates my faith in people power. If we, as the responsible and committed citizens of this country start getting together and fighting against all the things - that affect if not us, but somebody around us, then I am sure that problems like quota, delayed and denied justice will soon be a thing of the past. So, let's get together and do something about things that concern us or anyone around us. Let's pledge ourselve to a better, brighter and free India where we have full faith in the judiciary and our leaders.
