Dr Rajendra Prasad (Academic/Nationalist) and Dr. S. Radhakrishnan (Hindu Philosopher) were gems of India as Presidents. Now from amongst the greatest Scientists of India, Dr Kalam has indeed been a great asset to the country in many a way. About his opinions based on wisdom and conscience was applicable/acceptable to present day polity has remained a debatable factor both for NDA and UPA Governments? TV Kumar
