Peace Prevails in Mangalore ?
by Harihara Rajagopal on Oct 07, 2006 03:32 PM

The heading of the news item its elf is rahter vague.Does peace really prevail? Doughtful.

The incident of communal clashes in Mangalore is not fully reported. There is more than waht meets the eye. The communal tension has been simmering since long. It has been covered with the wet grass of minority appeasemnet policies of the Congress Governemt knowing very well it will one day go up in flames and engulf the entire community and the country. Now a spark in the form of a vehicle carrying cattle illegaly to slaughter house that set ablaze the animosity.

As long as the Political parties continue to follow the discriminatory policy of minority appeasement, the innocent people will continue to suffer at the hands of Minority community. But one day the table might turn and the consequences could be ctastrophic. Political parties, which thrive on vote bank without giving any thought for the general good of the state and the country, will have to be blamed. But, as the saying goes \\\" the people will get the government they deserve\\\"

So, when you go to vote for next election, \\\'think twice before you cast your ballot\\\'.
