A very pragmatic analysis - I wish our political bosses put their heads together, and take long term policy initiatives such that the unpardonable mistakes of era prior to 1962 vis-a-vis China are not repeated. It is only desirable to persue and applaud the positive side of our developing relationships with China but we should not forget that the things can change dramatically in a very quick time. And it will only be farsighted approach to plan and prepare ourselves for such an eventuality lest we are caught napping like we did in 1962.
