Reply to Mr. Nitin:

If u see current scenario of India, Hindi ppl are the ones who wants to thrust their language when they come out of their native states. In Bangalore, sometime back (not any more!) shop-keepers had to tell the rate of goods in Hindi (Saade-Das, etc). No other Indian language ppl wud do this if they go to ohter states. Hence the defensive against Hindi. If this also is resisted, then it cud become offensive !!

My credentials on Hindi are damn good (Better than the modern IT coolies!). I am from Hyd and I worked in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai. Stragely, I found problems with some language-chavunistic crowd in Infosys !! For some weak ppl, Hindi is a strage way to feel superior !! That is what is being contested.

As regards Chennai, being a Telugu, I did not find any problem and I do not know Tamil. When I worked in Delhi, I did not find problem with either Hindi/Punjabi ppl. But something is wrong with Hindi 'IT Coolies' in Southern states.

P.S: Bullshit is relative. Fact is less of a bullshit !!
