I completely agree with the writer. There is nothing wrong in saying that North and South are divided today by cultural difference. South has grown and not only developed into very rich land of knowledge and culture but also it has well adapted and accepted the changes that has come accross. How many people knew about Bangalore in its old days when it was just city to visit as a holiday destination but today it has changed the face of India by contributing largest Income tax collected anually. Though there is corruption and political mess allover India but there is always and will be difference between North and SOuth in the way they developed and changed themselves. Just check out the number of opportunites in SOuth and how many people migrate from North to South in search of work. And if still you are not satisfied with the writer visit any temple in North and see yourself how you can get dirtiest place for worship as compared to South or travel in reserved compartment in Northern and Southern trains and you will have your doubts cleared. Do not get emotional if you are staying in North try to understand what the writer is trying to say.
