Hi, Thee writier is correct in dwelling upon the +ves which are contributing to the South's retentio of the culture & civilisation. But one has to keep in mind the alround improvement of the state of affairs in south is more due to the commitment of the few people who went beyond their way to prove that things can be changed. Its not to do with the entire south as such, despite me being a ssouth indian i am of this tought as the changes which you see are quite into few pockets. Also there are many places which have quite a number of problems.
