It was circumstantial compulsion for US to be friendly with India. Friendship flourished in fact in the regime of Clinton or earlier durint the short time of Kennedy. Bush had Musharraf also in his pocket. Bush could know terrorism only when 9/11 happened. Before that there was no terrorism for him. There is value of human life which belongs to India. It is Bush who is alluding India on the issue of Security Council membership. It is Bush only who could not digest that any Indian should become Secretary General of UN, because Pakistan was not comfortable with it.......
