Pitfalls and Shortcomings of the law

4. By enacting this law, the government has taken upon itself the responsibility of saving women from domestic violence rather than making man more responsible for it. Thus a man would have less responsibilities if he is a bit more cautious towards his live in partner and the government would have more responsibility towards its citizenry. A government which is infected with the viruses of corruption, incapability and plethora of other problems like terrorism, population explosion, unemployment etc. can never be trusted for saving the lives of half a billion women in the country. This law would in fact create funny situations like on one hand; an innocent husband would be in jail for not giving in to unreasonable demands of his wife and in laws while on the other hand terrorists, traitors, conspirators and criminals like Md. Afzal and Abu Salem would roam free; rather enjoy all kinds of political patronage.
On the whole, the enactment of this law seems to be the handiwork of international conspirators, feminists and our gullible, west aping women leaders. This law mainly aims to break our homes and family values; thereby bringing social unrest in the country.
