Sheer insolence & disregard to political responsibilities
by Sid on Nov 01, 2006 05:24 PM

Time and again our political representatives have to give a naked display of their incompetence and inadequacy as people who failed to make a difference to India.
This change will demonstrate to the world that our country's politicians are still nurturing a useless vendetta against the colonial times. WHAT A PITY!

India needs to be a STRONG GLOBAL ECONOMY, where the citizens are LITERATE, who UNDERSTAND, CONTRIBUTE and OPERATE the nation's machinery. A literate and economically powerful nation is what is required.
India needs to stand up and implement the actions that make a remarkable contribution to lifting the standards of the average Indian citizen. The selection of nation-wide and state-wide programmes and initiatives needs to be aligned with what makes a real TANGIBLE contribution, not some nonsensical whims and fancy ideas of a retard politician who has no clue and no vision of the state's current and future situation.
It is obvious now that the people behind this ridiculous move are totally disconnected from the real efforts required to shun the colonial garb.
I am an IITian working abroad but who takes pride in being an Indian to the very core.
