I think it is foolish to rename the cities. It is purely political and nothing to do with public opinion. There is lot more to be done like improving the infrastructure and facilities for the public. I feel that if some renaming to be done, it should have been done long before (ie. immediately after Independence). Renaming the cities now and then shows the lack of vision of our leaders!
