Writer day dreaming....
by Hashini Jayasinghe on Nov 01, 2006 08:58 PM

The author makes a bed of roses regarding the IPKF placement in SL. If all was well according to the author one wonders why India is still reluctant to put her step in to this ethnic issue. The fact the matter is India understood that with facist group of terrorists who stand firm in their mono-ethnic cleansing even addressing tamil aspirations while LTTE is on board is a utter waste of time. There are way too many messages for India simply by looking at what the worlds richest super power is going through. Hasty decisions will burn India again is the way India sees it. While 20 million people in my island is suffering due to terrorist menance India is held liable in many Lankans minds and hearts for actually strengthening the position, stand and the recognition of the LTTE - the same group who bragged of killing more than 1200 Indian citizens and killed her prime minister.
