Reality check , bogus claims and hot air balloons
by vvaempuli on May 30, 2006 09:14 PM

Dear friend,
1)In TN, reservation is decided by vote bank politics, not real concern for social justice.
2)MK is seeking the abolition of creamy layer concept. If they have been the major beneficiaries of reservations, Why?
3)How does the performance of the "uplifted" (M)BC's from TN in all India exams like IIT/GATE/CAT compare with BCs from other states or Tamilian BCs settled in other states? The ids/caste of candidate is not revealed to the evaluator. So favouritism is out.
4)Decline in the standards of education is apparent, but these zealots will play dumb. Can you tell me how many castes have slid from BC to MBC ?
TN is the only state to have produced two nobel laureates in Physics and it doesn't recognise them. Neither does it recognise Ramanujan. Augurs well for the state. May be 70% reservations in Nobel prize is neccessary!Social justice? Kerala and WB are way ahead. for reservation in TN are only for keeping the brahmins out. Brahmins in IT, lets reserve some seats for us, however unqualified we may be, for we become kings by just sitting on the throne.
My sympathies for the lay tamilian who is far more reasonable and humane than his politicians!
