RE:can we change 2nd language in 5th std

my kid is studying in DAV girls school , gopalapuram.I heard that in some schools that in 5th std parents can change the language taken.ie if the has kid has taken tamil as language in 1st std& in 5th std they can change it to hindiand so during 6th to 8th 2nd language will be hindi &3rd language will be sanskrit &for 9th &10th hindi will be the language.is it true?if so do i need to give her private coaching in hindi if i want to do the above.thanks in advance.
