Dear Mr. Ramachandran, Let me first introduce my self. I'am U.Venkatesh, Chartered Accountant presently working in an export house in Bangkok as financial controller. My family has been running 4 schools one in ooty, one in coonoor and two near cpet. We have students from all backgrounds, and we have been making about 80% of them pass. The teacher put in more effort unlike in DAV where only the cream of the cream is recruited as is admitted by the principal himself. I for one went to St. Bedes wherein we had sons of engine drivers, orphans, sons of barbers, small time shop owners, etc. The teachers sweated their drows out and made most of them pass the Anglo Indian board exam. Therein lies the real effort. No doubt the performance of DAV is laudable but what is the use of boasting of the best ghee when only the best butter can enter your premises ? If you are intresteted in a debate about this over the internet you are free to contact me at venkivasu@rediff.com. Regards, Venaktesh
