Please go and explain reservation policy to someone who lost out on a seat after hard work for 12 months to someone who did not study hard enough.

The policy in the current context does not keep the haves away from the quota. In fact they can still continue to enjoy the same. I know people who studied under a street lamp and struggled hard enough and made it to college on their merit. They could have gone to better colleges if these quotas were not there. Run a 100 metres olympic race and say that there is another runner who starts at 99 metres, how fair is that ? Let us increase educational institutions rather than divide the country as such.

Just as reservations have benefited some people they have deprived many deserving candidates too.
