The Next Partition of India
by Dr Y N I Anand on May 24, 2006 05:32 PM

Shabhash Mr Subhash!!

It is now imperative on the part of all us to give kudos to the govt unashmedly trying to hang on to power and led by the PM for achieving this feat that could not be achieved even by the British. The British tried to divide & rule the country by appeasing one section of population & making them fight against the other. They only achieved one thing. That is, uniting the country against them, thanks to the tireless efforts of several selfless leaders. Our UPA govt has gone further & has earned the dubious distinction of perpetuating the policies started by the British but ending up dividing the country on caste lines. Now that the IMA has split & the political leaders of all classes & parties are having a vicarious laugh at the hapless citizens, it is a matter of time before other bodies also split on caste lines. It is a fact that there are innumerable bodies in this country established on caste lines. Most of them were either political or cultural bodies. Now that they have entered the elite professional institutions also, soon we would be seeing such bodies in the IIMs, IITs etc if they are not already there dividing the campuses on caste lines.
