What was the purpose of such an article?

I would like to know the purpose of this type of article from a guy who is NEVER going to return to INDIA. His kids will never face the Reservation issue so he is behaving like a good man. I am also an IITian and I know the truth about the merit of SC/ST candidates in IIT very well. I see these reserved candidates every year in front of IIT Professors rooms at the end of Major Exams. Its looks so bad when these guys cry in front of Professors to get the passing marks. Anyway, more than 50% reserved seats are bagged by MEENAs from rajasthan and very few of the other reserved candidates come to IIT. These PPl then stay in IIT for more than 6-7 years before being thrown out or passed after the Profs have pity on them.
So I guess all this talk of rural india and rural connection is BULLSHIT. The only thing count is MERIT and rest all is just time pass. And OBC candidates do not need the CRUTCHES of reservation. They are as meritorious and were never looked down upon. LORD KRISHNA ( an OBC YADAW in Arjun Singh's Qouta book) is GOD of all HINDUS and worshipped by Upper Castes.
