The author is misleading the readers by making a comparison between the pluralism in America and the issue of reservation in India. he didnot differentiate the limits to which the affirmative action in America pulls down the merit from the similar limitlessness in India. His mentioning of experience of Mr Ranjan in America is totally out of context and deceptively try to justify the reservation as a tool to achieve a 'desired heterogeneity'. dhanesh
