Reservation is needed for the weaker sections of the society in order to enable them to have a level playing ground in view of the increasing gaps between the have's and have nots. But if one analyses the effect, it is not the really weaker sections who get these benefits. It is the 3rd and 4th generations of the already uplifted societies. And one more thing. You are crippling the weaker sections further by keeping them away from competition while the merited students from the other communities have to pay the price and get demoralized. It is a shame.
