The reason given for additional quota is that 50% of population is OBC. Indirectly the government is encouraging the people to produce more children. Only god can understand Indian Politicians who on the one hand asks to have only one child and on the other hand encourages people to have more children. If quotas are to be fixed it should be for women or for the family who doesnot have person emplyed. By fixing quota based on population of a particular caste is ridiculous and disastrous.
