Kudos to rediff for this news brief! And kudos to Tamil Nadu for recognizing the needs of the homosexual population!! I totally disagree with Amar below regarding his views that people become homosexuals because child-abuse or pedophiles. And to add that these people in turn try to abuse others is utterly ridiculous!! Wake up! Homosexuals are an integral part of the society. They have always existed in our society and always will. This is no problem. The problem is really is the minds of people who are determined to ostracize them. The problem is really the discrimination they face from the so called straight people who do not have the backbone to admit that people with sexual preferences other than theirs exist in this world. It is easy to call homosexuals names and refuse to admit their existence it is more difficult to question your beliefs and open up to ideas that you are not comfortable with.
