Well put, necessary, but not politically correct

Dear Mr. Raman, please be more careful in the future using the word "jihadi" in connotation with terrorism. This word has a holy although extreme connection with moderate muslims who are the vast majority in the world. "Religious fundamentalists" or "fanatics" is appropriate. Although "jihad" and "jihadi" as a noun and adjective has been used extensively, this is the first article on rediff where it has been used in more than one instance in an otherwise neutral and well written piece. I hope somebody in Editing notices this comment.

I greatly admire and connect with your call for restraint and the depiction of the manipulative nature of Indian politics. Thank you for the article.
