Indo Pak Relations
by Kanaka Duraga Murali on Jun 30, 2006 08:52 PM

Although a well written article it holds very little susbtance. I have read it in news many a times that Pakistan is more than willing to solve the Siachen Problem and it can also be gauged from the fact that they had infact initiated this process. However India had categorically refused to budge from their current position whatever the reasons might be. Moreover it must not be forgot that India trained and supported the Mukti Bahaini during East Pakistan's struggle for freedom duri´ng the 1970's. More recently Indian involvent in the Balochistan Uprising has been confirmed by many Indepent International observers. So we should see Pakistan's involvment in India in the same light. Moreover isnt India's RAW also involved in bombings in Pakistan. Atleast this is what they claim like we always do behind every anti India activity ISI is involved. As far as Jihad is concerned to the best of my beleif and knowledge there wouldnot be 1% of muslims in India who advocate it but I am afraid if events like in Bhagalpur, Meerut, Ayodhya, Mumbai and Gujrat keep happenning there would be more propents for it. But my reading of History has never made me think that India has ever suffered Jihad.
