Should we forgive the LTTE?
by G. Muralidhar on Jun 30, 2006 05:42 PM

Yes, I firmly believe, we should forgive LTTE. It is a know case that LTTE was responsible for assasination of Late Rajiv Gandhi. At last they have acknowledge their guilt now after years of denieing, though it does not make any difference.

Our political leaders are no less than a group of terrorists serving their own cause. Our leaders are most selfish and crooked people who has divided the country on the lines of Caste, Creed, Sex, Religion and has been responsible for death of so many peopele either directly or otherwise.

LTTE on the other-hand has been waging a battle which might be correct from their point of view. Who are we to judge whether we should forgive them or not.

I look forward to response from Congress Chief, as they always claim to be heirs of the Mahatma Gandhi's legacy. If so then they should publicly acknowledge they have forgiven LTTE and help them re-start the process of negotiations with the Srilankan Government.

There is no problem on earth which cannot be solved if agreed parties sit down and maintain some restraint, as conflict has always resulted in ruins.
