Pak: Hindu lawmaker beaten up

I totally agree with Mr King, but just my two-bits: there is no 'e' in awful. Incidentally, does Pak have laws against assault and battery, or can all incensed persons take it upon themselves to beat-up anyone? In Parliament, no less!
