Madam, I am sure you are a very intelligent person, but you are very ignorant about Indian.
A country can not be great if its people are ruining it.
Indian has a history of being invaded several times. First the Aryans then the Mughals, Sikhs came into existence to protect themselves from Mughals, then the Christians came in. Indian has a gory past, an unstable present with the politicians they have, and general attitude of people. And contrary to what I pray, Indian has a very harsh future, where increasing number of people will fight for countries depleting resources.
Please remember we have had around 2000 years of civilization in the region to flourish and build upon, the argument that its been only 60 year since independence is not all that powerful.
You have quoted one isolated incidence where people came to help a guy, i am sure for every one such incidence there are about 10 when people do not come to help.
Indian is what Indians are. And as a race we are degenerating.
