Hi Claude, I read your article, and i agree that whatever you said, was more than 100% correct. Infact, probably you could have even used a stronger language and yet understated these issues... Probably you could have included the "lack of politeness" in the fast growing cities, or metros, as they are called... To be honest, we ourself feel that pinch in our skin, again, as you correctly pointed out, after a visit from abroad. The difference is so stark!!!!.. Anyway, the less said the better. So as a proud Indian, I can only apologise to all the visitors and guests who come to my home, and assure you, that some of us, or probably a lot of us, are trying in our individual capacity to make things better. Hopefully enough, some day, this will culminate in a collective effort and show some better results. I hope to read another article mentioning the "Improvements in the 10 most hateable areas in India" or some such heading.
And hopefully, it wont take another 30 years for that article to come out.
