It is really a well written article. I agree with most of the problems raised here, but would beg to differ with you on certain aspects. Firstly about the discrimination or rascism towards the white or yellow skinned brothers. It is not just for the white or yellow skinned but the discriminatory rates are applicable to all foreigners. It is not a discriminatory rate, but should be seen as Indians (being poor) getting a concessional rate! And as you say I don't think Rs. 5,000 is a huge sum for a French national, it is a huge sum (twice my dad's monthly salary) for an Indian national. I work with an Australian firm where I am payed 2/3 of the salary of my peers, for holding an Indian passport. The company policy clearly states that the cost of living of the country of origin will be considered while calculating the salary. Isn't that more discriminatory and rasist?
Indians (Hindu/Sanadhana Dharma) also doesn't have or believe in innumerous gods, we have many deities, but we believe in one god which is omnipresent.
I appreciate your efforts and fully understand your good intentions. Hope your work make at least some changes in people's mind.
