India Is Multi Religion, Not Secular
by Parul Kumar Sharma on Jul 03, 2006 09:54 PM

We have a system that is a reflection of fears and prejudicies of mindsetd of its creators (of law, rules & regulations).
We are multi religion not secular & each religion is more of an emotional space than an spiritual once. Thus we have different queues and things like that(reservation) in other domains of public life.
The system is not built on some concrete abstract theory of performance, productuvity, & decency. It perpetuates biased individuals to run the system and everybody is at their mercy.
There was a reason for ruling class to give India a set of rules/policies & then there was a trend that was followed by aping the concept of nation creation. Indian as people, civilization are growing slowly as a collective race. This has to do with education. Newer generations are better. We always lost our cream to abroad in past.
Democracy in India has kept this country intact, but benign dictatorship like singapore or that of china/hongkong is better than chaotic democracy.
