Absolutely Right
by Rajesh Ramasubramanian on Jun 23, 2006 01:59 PM

Well written and rightly mentioned.

I live in the UK for the past 3 years and as much as I love India, I have realised how much we need to progress.

I am trying from my end to implement a change at a grassroot level. I think a lot of our problems have to do with illiteracy and over population.

I would add one more problem to the list ...."Poor Infrastructure". Take it airports, stations, or the general planning of the city. It is very poor and sub standard.

Even new constructions or new makeover in the airports do not have the passion for perfection. You see mismatches in tiling, paints, etc.

If someone criticises or tries to make a point, he is quickly branded as a traitor. All we do and feel happy about is our great Indian culture!

WE NEED TO CHANGE!
