President Abdul Kalam is a many of Many Words...Words of Wisdom and Knowledge..If only our Esteemed members of Pariliament could heed....
To my Knowledge, we have not seen such a proactive president, who doesnt hesitate to give his piece of mind (mind you, he has a real scientific mind).
Parliamentarians are right in saying that we have inherited this legacy from the mother of all parilaments...the Britains's. But things and people are different in India. We should amend many clauses that dont sound too well with the current India.
If not for anything, the Pariliament should be considerate on the views expressed by the president before VETOing his say on the Office of Profit Bill.
This is one graceful and respectful way to treat the post of Presidency and.. Mr Kalam himself.
