Why Indians win in the Bee
by Siva on Jun 04, 2006 03:50 AM

I have read some of the comments saying that these kids are not Indian.

These Kids are very much Indian. In preparing for this bee, the kids of Indian origin raise money which goes out as scholarships to poor kids in India. www.northsouth.org through which almost all of Indian kids participate get trained and have given the money to over 1000 kids to go to college and complete college.

How many of you "Indians" have done something like that?

North South Foundation spelling bee competitions are the stepping stones for all Indians who enter into the Sripps Bee.

So Stop whining and encourage them. Believe me, they do more to India and people in India than any one who is complaining will ever do.
