Pakistan:Epicentre of jihad
by ashokm on Sep 06, 2006 02:00 PM

M K Dhar wants us to think about the geopolical class, problems in tackling the terrorism menance etc.
He was the director of Intelligence Bureau and what was his achievement in wiping out terrorism? He spent all his years in the IB for which the country paid, several died during this period due to terrorist acts.
Most of our bureaucrats are like that. They enjoy fruits of their jobs, do nothing effective to tackle the problems and after retirement, become wise and write about their experiences.
Wonder where these ideas where when they were on their jobs. Wasnt it their duty to get the problems across to their higher ups and force them to act? Or they could have openly told Indians about who is not acting on their suggestions.
After retirement, these things only show that their commercial interests in getting their memoirs/books sold.
