The media in all its sycophancy, may hail the N-deal as "historic" over and over again. But what we must understand is US is trying to get India to kneel and say sorry for what it defiantly did since Pokhran-I; for using the Cirius reactor, which Homi Bhabha so cleverly got it done with Canadian and US help, to make the weapons-grade plutonium used in Pokhran-I, and so on and so forth. The US wants India to shut down Cirius by 2010 when it has atleast 10 more years to go. All this and other past bitter experiences we had with the US, clearly indicate that India today is like a Jew saying "I need to be friends with Hitler because he's powerful."
