Dear Pradeep, Only the ruling class among the SC, ST and OBC will get the benefits of reservatios. Poors among the SC, ST and OBC need primary education first. Intead of resrvations,the requirement is, to provide quality education to the children, who cannot afford it, first at primary level and later at higher level. Special facilities for education need not be only for SC,ST or OBC, but for all Indians whom we expect to take pride in saluting the Tricolor or sing Jan Gan Man. I believe, Arjun Singh and coy are working for the countries/agencies who want IIT the symbol of Indian pride shattered. The world swears by IITians whose contribution in IT revolution and India's emergence as super power has no parallel. Alas the reservations. History will remember the reservationist as traitors who delayed India becoming a developed country by a century. The venom of reservations is breaking the fabric of society, especially among students. It has caused mistrust among friends, belonging to different caste groups. The invisible under current, will get worse, it being a function of unemployment. I wonder if NETAs are not aware. May be the divided nation suits them better.
