I pity with most of the citizens' predicament. The miserable failure of the successive Governments after the independence is the cause for all this fiasco, as they have not taken preventive measures expecting such calamities. Even now, I think they are not prepared for such eventualities. Incidentally, I would like to ask all Mumbaikars whether they are all paying their taxes properly as demanded; if they do that properly, they have the right to ask the Government; if they are making the payments all these days regularly, probably this year you can form an association and take appropriate action in refusing payment of taxes, to draw the attention of the Government. Let us pray to God for saving us, in spite of these Governments functioning.
