India and The US
by sudhir on Jul 21, 2006 02:24 AM

In all fairness Mr. Tellis worked very hard to make the nuclear deal happenn. He is a strong proponent of strong Indo-US relations. I would imagine he has very positive feelings about his native land, India. The interview was a bit on your face in tone and Mr. Tellis was perhaps being a bit defensive after having worked so hard to make it happen. Re: his comments about the importance of India to the US and whether the US needs India, perhaps we should just take it with a pinch of salt. India is critical to the US and thye US desparately
