A few weeks in jail may do them a world of good - they may even emerge from their short incarceration much more tempered, rejuninated and all gung-ho to do right by their country. I think all politicians should excperience a few weeks in jail, if only to emphatise and commiserate with their fellow voters unfortunate enough to fall afoul of the law or the 'burra sahibs' in their town or village.
