It's an interesting article which attempts to give some insight into the minds of the contemporary muslim youth. While I can understand some of the things they tried to convey, it is equally true that there is hardly any resistence among the muslim community towards the terrorists amongst them and there is always a tendency to immediately go on the defensive! It's true that the police do not show the faces of people arrested on suspicion of being terrorists but same is also true of other accused who are neither muslims nor terrorists. The muslim youth would be well advised to get rid of the suspicions in their minds, which might be at times be planted by vested interests posing as community leaders, and move ahead with confidence and ability. Just one word of advice, though. There is no place for obscurantism and orthodoxy in the path to progress! dynamism is the byeword! Integrate with the mainstream with respect for others' beliefs and religion! Deficiencies in our political, administrative and judicial system affect everyone equally. so, why crib unnecessarily! Incidentally, the common hindu is equally, or maybe more, scared because he is a sitting duck for remote shooters/bombers!
