Interesting thoughts

Im not one of those pseudo peaceniks who advocate restraint at all costs. But bear in mind some simple facts before advising ruthless counterinsurgency operations. Pakistan has teh following aspects in its favour.

Its geo strategic location-therefore importance to teh US to avoid it from completely falling into China's lap

A significant disgruntled muslim population in india, bought heightened by India's internal politics and Pakistan's propoganda campaign. It is doubtless that Pakistan has spent years, millions of dollars in indoctrinating and training the mercenaries.

Unlike Pakistan India does not have a significant non-muslim base in Pakisatn to serve its ends.

While Israel has the option of going deep into enemy territory on the strength of the jewish lobby at Capitol hill, India's clout with the US is only nascent.

With this in view, the only logical option for us is to leverage the underworld itself to go after the terrorists in Pakistan, like the way we deploy Chota Rajan's men to go after Dawood and to stir up insurgency in Balochistan thru Afghanistan.
Any options exercised beyond this will bring India and Pakistan to the throes of nuke war.
