India needs to be ruthless
by Rupak Bhatia on Jul 13, 2006 06:11 PM

The thoughts in your article are the thoughts of an individual but I am sure they resonate in the hearts of the whole Indian citizenry, residing anywhere on the face of this planet. The 'rulers' of India are more concerned about making the minorities happy, for their votes, than thinking about the safety of the nation as a whole.

Every action has, and must have, an equal and opposite reaction to maintain the proper balance of energy and power. When such actions are not replied with fitting reactions, there is bound be an imbalance in the the favor of those carrying out the action at the expense of those on whom the action is carried out.

Condolences and 'talks' are not the right reaction. Nations around the world use pre-emptive actions to avoid future attacks. We forget about the attacks in the past and don't even to react to repeat attacks. That is absolute cowardice. Those is power need to wake up and identify friends from foes. Have peace with those who understand peace.

As you rightly said, human rights do not apply to terrorists. No international laws of war apply to terrorists. These are just excuses to hide the cowardice.

We can just hope! Do we get? God knows
